Knights of Columbus "Heroes Home for the Holidays" Campaign

Cathedral of the Incarnation Deacon John Krenson is also the commanding officer of the 2nd Squadron/278th Armored Cavalry Regiment of the TN National Guard.  They are currently training in Mississippi for a 1-year mission to Iraq.  John told members of KC Council 544 his soldiers were excited about getting 7 days leave prior to deployment oversees early in 2010.  Unfortunately, they were on their own for transportation back home to Tennessee.  "It was a great opportunity to help out our soldiers and show them our support", said Grand Knight Mark O'Neill.  So the Nashville Knights stepped up and organized the "Heroes Home for the Holidays" campaign.  Through the generosity of Cathedral parishioners over $14,000 has been sent to our troops, enough for 200 round trip bus tickets.
