Assembly 2162 Fourth Degree Exemplification for 2009

The Knights of Columbus recently conducted a Fourth Degree exemplification at the Knights Hall in Crossville.  The exemplification took place on Saturday, February 14th, and was hosted by Father Gabriel Assembly #2162, under the direction of Tennessee District Master, William Gunter.  Sir Knight Walt Fry chaired the committee for this grand event.  The honorees at this year’s exemplification were Sir Knight John Marvin, former Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator and Sir Knight Ken Bailey both members of the Father Gabriel Assembly #2162, Crossville.

New Fourth Degree Knights from Council #6645, Cookeville, are Edward Czysz, Helmuth Koch, Mark Langwasser, Reverend Father Donald W. Loskot, SDS, Charles Richardson and Jan Schoonfield.  The new Fourth Degree Knight from Council #3175, Oak Ridge, is John Hough.  Council #8152, Crossville, welcomed 15 new Fourth Degree Knights; Herbert Adams, Patrick Anderson, Kenneth Braden, Reverend Deacon Mark A Fredrick, William Frye, Charles Grismore, Preston Hackett, Edward Maxwell, Ralph Mitter, Barry Reed, Dennis Roy, Richard Soenen, Reverend Deacon Joe Solis, Russell Vara and Michael Wilkiel.

Following the 5:00 pm Mass celebrated by Sir Knight Reverend Father Jim Harvey and the Knighting Ceremony at St. Alphonsus Church in Crossville, a banquet dinner was hosted by Father Gabriel Assembly #2162 at the Knight’s Hall.  Sir Knight Bill Gunter, TDM, presented certificates and Sir Knight Ron Alt delivered a talk celebrating the honorees.  Our guest speaker was Sir Knight Reverend Father John O’Neill of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fairfield Glade.  Congratulations and best wishes to the Conferees on their elevation to the Fourth Degree of Knighthood in the Knights of Columbus.
